Quick-drying, fibre-reinforced liquid sheath
WG_acquastop it is an emulsion based on elastomeric resins and FibroGrip®, special microfibres and hydrophobic granules for real improved mechanical resistance and a rough surface ideal for anchoring the glues used subsequently (both cement and paste). It creates an elastic, waterproof membrane, highly resistant to water, humidity and atmospheric agents. Single-component, quick-drying (laying floors after a few hours). Absorbs structural movements, promotes adhesion for overlapping bonding ("tile on tile"), consolidating action on crumbling surfaces (plaster, fiber cement), non-toxic for operators.
WHERE TO USE
It is used on terraces, balconies, bathrooms and humid environments in general (shower cubicles, kitchens) before installing ceramic tiles,
marble, concrete, mosaics, stone or stone in general. Suitable for interiors or exteriors on various types of supports: cement screeds, concrete, pre-existing ceramic or marble floors, plaster, fiber cement, bricks, stone, terracotta, plasterboard, wood, insulating panels.
HOW TO USE
On clean, dry and seasoned supports. It is applied with a roller, brush or spatula with 2 coats 60 minutes apart. After about 3 hours we proceed with the installation of the coverings. Insert the WG-nastroflex rubberized tape into the joints between the floor and the wall.
WARNINGS
Do not use on damp or unseasoned surfaces. WG-acquastop must always be covered with floors or coverings. On screeds or walls with the presence of rising damp, use WG-acquastop only if a chemical barrier is created beforehand with WB-barrier.
