Blocks rising damp
from walls and floors
Liquid chemical barrier
WB-barrier allows the arrest of capillary and rising humidity by creating a counter-thrust anti-humidity chemical barrier.
WB-barrier is used as a substrate or injected into walls. Its barrier action is given to horizontal or vertical, internal or external wall surfaces, leaving transpiration unchanged and obtaining notable advantages:
► strong anti-mould, anti-efflorescence and anti-saltpetre action
► increase in the longevity of subsequent treatments (floors, plasters, paints) avoiding detachment phenomena
► better energy performance and thermal insulation of the treated surfaces.
It is used for the "chemical barrier" treatment in various cases: in screeds before flooring, in walls before plaster, in old and new internal walls before painting. The supports can be of various types: old plaster, bricks, cement, stone, conglomerates in general, gypsum, lime and similar. Specific for interventions in basements, in retaining walls and where it is not possible to intervene in the points of origin of humidity (basements, garages, screeds or walls in direct contact with the ground).
On dry and clean surfaces, eliminating loose parts, mold and efflorescence. Dilute 1 liter of WB-barrier in 6 liters of water and apply by brush, spray or injections with the appropriate WB-bags (for use with injections into walls, consult the technical data sheet).
-
With 1 liter of WB-barrier + 6 liters of water, an average of 25 mq is treated (used as a substrate). For the yield used with injections, consult the technical data sheet.
