PR_C silicato is composed of ethyl silicate and special solvents for optimal penetration. It works by reaching the healthy core of the stone where it is transformed into binding silica. PR-C silicate meets the following requirements:
- restoration of original cohesion and porosity without changing transpiration.
- stable to UV rays, resistant to atmospheric agents (humidity, smog, acid rain).
- absence of film-forming effects, chromatic variations or origin of foreign salts.
- specific for the pre-consolidation of very degraded surfaces where multiple coats of product are required.
- non-toxic single-component product, easy and safe to use.
WHERE TO USE
It is suitable for the restoration of absorbent natural stones such as sandstone, tuff, trachyte, bricks, marble, terracotta and plasters damaged by atmospheric agents. Specific in consolidation and pre-consolidation in monumental restoration.
HOW TO USE
Ready to use, it must be applied in one or more coats by brush, with compresses, by immersion or by spray (low pressure).
WARNINGS
It is necessary to complete and protect the treatment with a final coat of water-repellent WR-S (siloxane) or WR-silethyl (ethyl siloxane silicate).
YELD
It varies greatly depending on the absorption and level of degradation of the material to be consolidated. With 1 liter of PR-C silicate you can treat an average of 4 mq.
