YELD
PR-fer acts chemically (zinc phosphates) protecting the irons from oxidation.
It has high performance and several advantages:
► single-component, ready to use, easily workable
► quick drying after application (approximately 2 hours)
► product certified according to UNI-EN 1504-7 (anti-corrosion category)
► also adheres strongly to the surrounding concrete, creating a consolidated and rough surface ideal for anchoring subsequent cement mortars (FibroGrip® technology)
► does not create toxicity problems for operators
► the resealable package avoids product losses and scraps typical of traditional cement grouts
WHERE TO USE
Allows the restoration of the irons of reinforced concrete structures (pillars, beams, balconies, facades).
HOW TO USE
The irons to be treated must be clean, dry, degreased, free of rust, oil, cement splashes or other residues. For optimal cleaning, sandblast, disc or vigorously brush. Mix well before use, apply with a brush in two coats. The second coat can be applied after 1 hour. Once dry, approximately 2 hours, the surfaces can be covered with mortars.
WARNINGS
Apply the product on cool, dark surfaces. Do not use on damp surfaces. Carefully carry out the cleaning phases of the iron rods and the adjacent concrete.
YELD
Approximately 0.50 kg per mq. With 1 kg of PR-fer you can treat on average 25 linear meters of 10 mm diameter rod (2 coats).
PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Emulsion based on passivating resins, zinc phosphates and synthetic fibres.
Physical appearance of the product: thick creamy liquid.
Final appearance after drying: rough surface, green colour.
