AD_aerant

Lightens and improves mortars, concretes and cement plasters
Concentrated air-entraining additive

AD-aerant is a concentrated emulsion of resins which causes the incorporation of air microbubbles into cement mixtures. They constitute a fictitious aggregate, comparable to a very fine aggregate, which does not require additions of mixing water and which increases its cohesion. Improves mixtures by correcting their grain size and decreasing their density. It promotes the wettability of cement and aggregates by improving the W/C ratio. It gives concretes and mortars a thixotropic effect, increasing their plasticity, waterproofness and resistance to freeze and thaw cycles.

WHERE TO USE

AD-aerant is an additive for concrete and cement mortars. It replaces lime putty in plaster mortars, improves their appearance, adhesion to the support and eliminates shrinkage and efflorescence caused by lime. Specific in jobs where lightening of the castings is required and to improve the workability of lean concrete and floors. Reduces the floating effect when using light aggregates (expanded clay, polystyrene, perlite, etc.).

HOW TO USE

Concentrated product. Add AD-aerant to the mixing water directly or using an automatic dispenser.

WARNINGS

-

YELD

Calculate the yield based on the cement weight and the use:
- For concretes 0.1 liters for a hundred kilograms of cement
- For mortars and plasters 0.2 liters for a hundred kilograms of cement/binder.
